In the past, AIPL has always been using the practices which are environment friendly. To continue this further, Company has supported Green Initiative of Government of India for promoting sustainable development, securing long term energy security for the country, reducing pollution and increasing health benefits for the people, the Company has gradually shifted reliance from Fossil Fuel based energy to Renewable Energy (RE).

For accomplishing the aforesaid objective, the company has set up roof-top solar power projects for self-consumption. The company has also set up Solar Power Project in Karnataka for sale purpose to private parties. Further, many other expansion plans are being proposed in this sector.
